Calling all young lexical tacticians, anagram assassins and vocabulary virtuosos! The AJSC isn’t just 7 games of Scrabble, its a battlefield of strategy, memory, wit and nerve. Players will test their skills against other word warriors from around the country. Will last year’s title holders retain their titles? Or will new players breakthrough. You’ve got to be in it to win it, but win or lose, players can expect a good time and new friendships.
It’s for under-18s but its not childsplay. Competitors will play using Australian rules, the same rules that adults use. And for some, it could be a springboard to represent Australia at the World Youth Scrabble Champs.
